DCA to DLH for Goofy's Kitchen?

What would be the easiest way to get from DCA to Disneyland Hotel? Would walking be easiest? Or taking the monorail? This is our first trip to DL so I don't have a clue!

From California Adventure the most direct route is to walk. There is not a Monorail stop in California Adventure. You would walk through Downtown Disney over to the hotel and straight back to were Goofy’s kitchen is located. If you are in Disneyland you could catch the Monorail in Tomorrowland and it drops you off at the West end of Downtown Disney. I would estimate that it is about a 8-10 minute walk from California Adventure to Goofy’s Kitchen and probably 3-4 minute walk from the Monorail drop off in Downtown Disney.

There is also a path you can exit from the paradise pier section of DCA. It is for guests of Paradise Pier hotel so you would not be able to get back in that way without a room key -- but you should be able to leave that way. Should cut walking time for you if you are in that section of the park -- then you could walk back through downtown disney and the main entrance when you return.
