Now that RSR fastpasses are connected- how do you suggest making the best of getting other fastpasses?? :confused3

Here's my plan: go to CA early, get a Fastpass for early in the am, ride RSR, stick around for an hour or so, hit an attraction or two while keeping an eye on return times, get 2nd FP when the return time is suitable, then hop over to DL. Hop back to CA in the evening for 2nd RSR FP. We'll see if this works!

I guess I'm just not understanding..... So, if I get a RSR FASTPASS at 11AM for a return time of 6PM, then during that time between 11-6 I can NOT get any other FP for any other ride, right??

No. That's not correct. If the return time for the FP is more than 2 hours away then you can get another FP for another attraction after 2 hours. If you got a RSR FP at 11 am for a 6pm RT, then you could get FP for any other attraction at 1pm. The FP should also state this info. about when you are eligible to get another FP.

OMG! :) You are so right. I totally knew that :rotfl2: I guess I was just starting to panic that our day was ruined for other FP without really thinking it through.
Thank you for easing my cluttered mind :flower3: I think I just need to take a deep breath in my trip planning!:thumbsup2

And now that they are connected they aren't going nearly so quickly. For example, it's 10:00am there now and the current FP return time is 10:45 per the lines app (which also says it is down right now).

According to the park schedule, DCA didn't open until 10:00 am, so they would have just started handing out FPs at that point. The minimum offset is about 45 minutes, so that makes sense for right at opening.

Sub RSR question, is the "wide right" technique still valid for early entry? My plan consists of us hitting RSR first thing and being done with it for the day..

If I'm not mistaken, the wide right technique is for the rope drop rather than early entry.

It's easy to get a FP these days as mentioned above. However, I also like to wait right until closing to get in the stand-by line. At that time of night, it's usually about a 25-35 min wait.

What is the general wait time on a Sunday when using your FP?

Don't know about Sunday in particular, but the FP wait lines were long when we visited Wednesday last week. We hopped out of the FP line and into the single rider line and gave others our FPs when were off the ride.

Wide Right is for EE or for rope drop on non-EE days. It only works when there are no other people in the park ahead of you.
