DCA rope drop location and coffee!

Hello!
I just booked a mother- daughter trip in May! We have not been to DCA/ DL in over a year.

I wanted to know what time they start allowing guests to enter DCA. Not so concerned about being at the front of the line as we have a tradition to always hit Maters first. I did want to know if the Starbucks at DCA was open prior to 8 am opening. I sure would love to grab an iced coffee before 8 am and then be ready to go at rope drop.

The Starbucks in DCA opens at 8am. The one in DTD opens at 7am.
