Do the booths stay open in the rain? I'm planning to go Saturday but it's forecasted as rain . I got my pass at the tail end of the Food and Wine Festival last year and didn't get to do much of it. This year I want to take full advantage and try everything!
I think it depends on how hard it's raining -- misting or pouring? There was one food festival (holiday? Lunar New Year? F&W? -- I don't remember!) when it was definitely wet, but not pouring. I remember that the booths were open, but supply was limited because the weather was slowing down the restocking chain. The CMs with the resupply carts were having a harder time getting to all the kiosks with all the new supplies. But the booths stayed open.
Boo! I love avocado ice cream, but honestly, not many people will try it.
We had a restaurant in town called Avocado Grill and as you would expect, everything featured avocado. They had the ice cream there, so tasty. But they went out of business sadly.
I also make a really yummy lemon cake with avocado frosting, it's so colorful for Easter. Bring on the avocados!
The Garlic Kissed booth and the Artichoke one are going to be seeing a lot of me also. Keeps the vampires away.
