I saw on Twitter last night that DCA was super crowded during MHP. We don't have tix to MHP and are planning to be in DCA the night of the 14th. Does anyone have suggestions on how to tour that evening? I am not opposed to being in the park with the crowds, but since it won't be our only evening there, I want to maximize our time and avoid crowds/lines as much as possible. Does the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail stay open when it's dark? We've never spent much time back there and want to check it out more on this trip and I imagine that area of the park wouldn't be packed even when DCA is busy.

If you were thinking of doing a TS dinner in DCA, make an ADR and do it that night.

Redwood creek was closed pretty early 9ish, so was little mermaid. Lines for tower and rsr was almost 2 hrs, most of paradise pier was closed for big chunks for both world of colors. It was crazy, going to grand Californian and drinking was the best option

I also will be at DCA on the evening of Friday the 14th and plan on it being very crowded. I am keeping it simple: I am going try to get a fp for one or two rides, stop in at the Napa Rose for a cocktail and appetizers, and have reservations at the WOC dessert party.

I would expect there to be huge crowds. It was beyond crowded last night, try to get FP for some of the big ticket rides (you can't for TOT but getting a FP for RSR for later in the evening is a good idea.)

Also just be patient.

How come you can't get a fp for TOT?

We went the Friday night of the first party. DCA was great until about 6:30ish. Soarin' had a two hour wait!!! Luckily we had pulled a fast pass earlier. even the walkways were difficult to manage and DCA is never like that!
