DCA Construction

We are headed to DLR next week - 6/9 - 6/14. Any chance Goofy's sky school will have a soft opening that early. I think the offical date is July 1st.

Also is the entrance to DCA close to being completed? I see pictures of it in the updates, but I don't know when it is going to be done.

It would be nice not too see so much construction while we are out there.

Goofy Sky School, soft opening, I wouldn't say there is not chance, but while the ride appears 100% ready, the area for loading and unloading does not.

While the tops of the new turnstyle entrance looks close, there is probably a lot of stuff to finish underneath. Also some rumors suggest that when that entrance is ready, they will reroute how you walk into the park.

There will be walls so try to accept it.

I don't know why but I have the last week of August in my head for the new Main Gate opening....

I can't speak to any soft openings.

At the moment, DCA has a lot (and I mean a lot) of construction walls up. There are some pathway restrictions as well. I wouldn't let it take anything away from your visit though. Consider it a unique opportunity to see the rebirth of DCA in the making!
