DCA closing early 2/4

Anyone know why DCA is closing at 6pm on the 4th? Doesn't really bother me. I was just curious if anyone knew the reason. It closes at 8pm on pretty much all other weekdays as far as I can tell.

I have no idea, but that seems to have been a very recent change. I didn't see it when I checked the schedule a couple days ago or a couple weeks ago.

I noticed that Monday the 9th the hours are actually longer than before for Disneyland (at least I'm pretty sure.) 9am-9pm. I could have sworn that day was 10-8 before.

It's been 9-9 for at least a few weeks.

I wonder if there's something going on that Monday and they are expecting more crowds since it seems other non-holiday Mondays are 10-8.

That Monday was 9-9 last year too, but no idea why!

I know at that time in 2013 (the first Wednesday of February) we were in the parks and a similar thing happened.

HP rented out Hollywoodland and had a dinner or something there along with exclusive ride time of TOT, and it was closed from 6PM on. Then, after the park closed at 8, CM's rushed out from all over the place and set up a reception in Cars Land, and other things around the park.

The time-frame lines up, and with the Frozen Fun going on, they probably couldn't rent out Hollywoodland again to serve their purpose. My guess is HP's corporate party, again.
