DC room discounts.

I have DC and we are planning a trip for September 2003. How early can you book to receive room discounts? I am assuming you can book in the fall of this year. Am I correct? Thanks!

I think DC rates are released sometime in the fall for the next year.

Even if the rates are not available... they can mark your reservation with a DC discount. We have had that done for us before. We usually travel in Feb and the rates/discounts are never available when we book in the previous summer. A lot of time, they will mark the reservation with an AAA discount - as it is usually the same.

What I have done, is call a month or two before arriving and confirm the disney discount, find out what it really is and have them resend me a confirmation.

Thank you. I am planning now and want to tell my in-laws when they have to make up their minds whether they are coming or not. I know they think it is a long time from now but I want to make sure I get those discounts. I guess if they don't tell me when I make my ressies then they may not get my discount.
