From what I understand, you call and make a ressie for DC for a certain date? What happens if it rains/storms? Or do you just pick a day and hope you are one of the first 1,000 people?

Also...Is there anywhere to get a discount for DC?

TIA!

You can call or make the ressie online - but do it as quickly as your have your travel plans in place, because dates can sell out. The only discounts I've ever heard of were through AAA, and I could'nt find info about it on aaa website. (it's not anything big, perhaps $10-15) You either pay in full when reserving, or a 30% discount, and the balance due 60 days before your date. Re weather, I've heard of people being there when it rains! We're hoping for pretty weather, but I'm sure the experience will be amazing regardless. Good luck, I'm sure you'll have a great time.

We were at DC last April on a very dreary, slightly rainy, very not warm day! Despite the weather, ::yes:: It was a great experience!! We had the first Dolphin encounter session of the day and then went to the ray pool and aviary. Lunch was very yummy! We did not hang out on the beach areas - we were freezing once we got out of the water - so we headed over to Sea World in the afternnon to complete the day! My DS and DH got to ride Krakken and we saw the Shamu show! We would not have gone to seaworld if the weather had been nicer but because you have that option you can make the best of the day! :flower:
Have fun!
