DC Final Payment problem....PLEASE SEND PIXIE DUST...AS MUCH AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN

A huge Disboard thanks for all of your support
The money orders were purchased via Western Union.....
Literally spent an hour and 15 minutes on the phone with the DC yesterday...they were very nice...and (appeared to me to be very concerned and apologetic)...checked all avenues and no receipt of payment....{Was informed that it can take up to 10 days to apply payment after receipt}...that was an eye opener
Was told to call back on Monday...to see if "anything turns up"..informed them that I was worried regarding the "45 day window" and they told me "no problem"...
Western Union traced the money orders....they have NOT been cashed....sooooooo...the mystery continues....
Thinking that all of the Pixie Dust is working....I've at least stopped crying...(trust me...I'm NOT the whiny type)....I am certain that all of this is going to get worked out...one way or the other....
STILL determined to see those lime green ribbons as scheduled!!!
Will post when all is said and done.................

I got a positive vibe when I read your last post where Disney said "no problem" about the 45-day window. It sounds like they are not going to cancel your reservation.

If worst comes to worst, you can cancel the Western Union money orders, get a refund on them, purchase new ones and get them to Disney.

I'm keeping positive thoughts for you!

If it's a Disney Club reservation, it has a 30 day final payment deadline, not 45 days. The latter is for non/DC packages.

You're still within the balance due window, but it's not as late as you think.
