Dc Discount Only Thru Wdtc?is This True

Was anybody else told that you can only get DC discount if you book through WDTC? I have always booked through CRO directly. I don't like all the strings attatched with the tavel company. When I wanted to get the DC rate they said that they would have to cancel the 1st reservation and book another one with the DC rate and with the travel comapny. I was wondering if this is true?

Yep - DC can only be booked through WDTC.

you want to switch it to an AP if one becomes available? Will WDTC let you do it and if they do will I have to cancel the DC and rebook like I did this times?

If an AP or code rate becomes available, you can switch it. I made a DC reservation in May through WDTC and then switched it to code in July with no problem using the DC 800 #. They credited me the original reservation and redid it.

DC does go through WDTC but has special rules regarding deposits & cancellations:
