I rec'd the following email this afternoon:

Book by December 22, 2011 and visit for just $199 for dates in 2012!

Your Dolphin Swim Day Resort Package includes:

A reserved 30-minute dolphin interaction.*

Snorkeling with thousands of rays and tropical fish plus hand feeding exotic birds

Freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and unlimited snacks, drinks and select alcoholic beverages, lockers, sunscreen, snorkel gear, changing facilities plus all-day self parking at Discovery Cove.

Unlimited admission to your choice of SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa or Aquatica for 14 consecutive days surrounding your Discovery Cove visit.

*Packages are available with and without the Dolphin Swim Experience.

Available online only. Valid on bookings made during Nov 8 – Dec 22 and for visits in 2012.

Subject to availability, blackout dates apply March 23rd to April 14th and June 11th to August 19th, 2012.

Not valid on previously booked reservations or in combination with other offers.

I already had a previously booked reservation for January 1st, 2012 at $229 per person. I placed a quick call to the customer service line, and the CSR was able to cancel my first reservation and rebook me at the new discounted rate, resulting in a $90 + tax savings :banana::banana: .

Anyone looking for a day at DC without the dolphin swim, the promo rate is $129 pp.

Hope this helps someone else out as well!

so bummed because we are going in august during the black out dates. However, if you are only doing DC and not intending on going to seaworld, aquaticaor bush, you can use passmember2011 which will give you 10% off but does not give you access to the other parks.

Do you need a promo code? I don't see many dates on the website's calendar that are $199.

Also do you need to pay in full, give deposit or give CC hold? Thanks this could save my family $125:cool1:

Try this:

We had to pay in full at the time of booking.

Note the fine print regarding the available dates:

I'm still seeing very few dates that say $199 on the calendar. Do you have to call? But it does say online only. Am I looking at the wrong thing? Where are you finding the $199 dates?

I cant find it for May/June 2012 either:confused3. Only for FLa residents. OP do you happen to know what the cancelation policy is?

Didnt want to layout $1000 in Dec but this will actualy save us $150 plus if you figure food for 5 that day another $150, tickets to seaworld/aquatica combo tickets $700 w 4 adlt 1child. The 5 of us would get to swim with the dolphins for about $150 which is less that it would cost one of us to do a dolphin excusion of the dream.:thumbsup2

I had hoped to do a dolphin adventure of the dream but for the $1269 cost it looks like we can have an entire pre cruise vacation with a day of meals instead and save $269 :woohoo:

Thank you :goodvibes

Just read on another thread if you are a season pass holder you can purcahse DC tickets for 169 or 69 without swim but it doesn't include SW or any other tickets..For us that would be $109 for SP $445 for DC and an aditional $276 for 2 day SW tickets for a total of $824 instead of $1000

I plan on dbl checking this with seaworld but its worth looking into.

Hmmmmmmmm..............very strange! The link works with the special offer pricing if I click on it from my DC email, but shows the regular pricing when I copy and paste it here (:headache:).

If you would like me to forward you the email itself (which would have the link included), send me a PM and we can give that a whirl. Or you could try calling ... tell them you rec'd the email about the holiday offer and see if they can book it for you that way.

From the DC website:

If you need to reschedule your Discovery Cove visit, one complimentary date change is allowed, pending availability.

Bookings made within 3 days of original reservation date will be booked at the original rate.

Bookings made outside of that time will be subject to change based on seasonal rates for the new date chosen.

Please note: If you decide to cancel your Discovery Cove reservation within 30 days of your visit there is no refund. If the cancellation notice is provided more than 30 days from arrival, you will receive a full 100% refund.

*Group booking policies may differ.

So, you cancel 30 days prior and get a full refund :thumbsup2. If your visit is within 30 days, they will only switch the date for you at that point.

:thumbsup2 That is awesome!

I know we crunched the numbers with the Season Passholder discount, but it didn't work out in our favour for our small family of 3. Definitely worth checking into for those with larger families though!!

By rebooking our day at DC with the holiday offer $199 promo, we saved $100.11 Cdn over our original reservation. I told hubby that now we can afford the big photo package at the end of the day  . He just sighed. :lmao: . That poor man.

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I Know what you mean. Our pre trip keeps getting bigger and bigger!

We are on the Dream June 1st and wanted to drive there a few days early to provide a buffer incase there is some sort of issue driving down and to surprise the kids by saying we are going to univrsal then take a Drive out by Nasa and take a peek at boats and end up on the Dream :dance3:

Now I'm looking at these prices at DC and US much cheaper room rates for a season passholder who stays longer (30pct off plus long stay discount) and it might cost us just a few hundred dollars more for our family of five to stay four or five days compaired to two days at US and a dolphin excusion on the dream.;) Especially with club level at dc (we have never done CL beore). DC club level would give us breakfast $35 savings, free bottle water $30 savings for 2 btls daily to take to the park and allow us to eat what we call Lupper. Late lunch early supper eliminating a meal. We can then snack at either the 6pm spread which includes an entree or just go for dessert later. Not eating lunch saves us another $50 and if we get the free beer and wine $14. If we are so full we dont snack another $30. Add free soft drinks, no waiting in line and early entry to HP and its kinda awsom:worship:.

We have never had a vaca more than seven days most are five but for the first time we have the money this year so I wonder if I can get him to jump:rolleyes1

Sorry to hijack thread just so excited about how much more we might get and hope this gets others thinking about getting a single season pass to get big discount for entire family;)

You may be hearing from me on the promo code. Thanks for the offer!!!:goodvibes

CORECTION!

I dont know where my head was at last night, must have been considering leaving two family members behind

Even with the SP discount of 169 for DC it would be $824 for 5 plus 109 for season pass and 276 for 2day Sea world pass for a total of $1230. So it would be cheaper if you do not want to go to seaworld more expensive if you do. However no need for promo code and no deadline to pay in Dec.

Sorry! What I get for doing math at midnight:lmao:
