Dc b'day---

WHo do you invite? Do you invite only the closest friends? Do you invite kids from different circles (ie dance, church,school) that don't know each other at all & will only know dc & probably noone else?

Do you invite the whole class? or look up the addresses ( & mail the invite)& invite only a few?

This is the 1st time it won't matter how many kids - other than for food purposes - the location charges the same up to 50 kids...(EEEK!)


But I can't decide who to invite.....I don't really like all the kids on the list...KWIM?

We just did my DD6 first kids party she is in K. We ended up inviting the whole class and most of the girls came and 1 boy. We also invited her cheer squad and 1 girl from her dance class last year. The girl from dance expected my DD to be at her side the whole time becasue she didn't know anybody else. She was following her like a lost puppy. I tried to get her to interact with the other kids but it was a no go. My DD was getting annoyed. SO my advice is try to get atleast 2 from each group to come so they know some else besides the birthday child.

For preschool and kindergarten I invited the whole class..this year I had her pick out some kids from her class and I mailed the invites plus she invited her whole girl scout troop and some of the kids from karate plus others she still hangs out with from preschool....this year its limited to 6 girls since she is having a spa party and its 40.00 a girl so no way is the whole class and girl scout troop coming LOL.

WOW!! $$40.00 a girl!?!?!!? I can't imagine! I'm splurging this year by having it @ the pool & paying $100 for 50 kids! (if we invited that many - which we won't)

A spa party sounds so nice - I'd love to go to a spa one day...
