DBF alone at the LSS? Wish me luck...

I'm at least an hour away from the nearest scrapbook store (although there are supplies at the Wal-Mart, which, quite seriously, is the ONLY STORE HERE) but DBF is working almost across the street from a LSS. I need red and black cardstock for my graduation and Mickey (the Atlanta statues visit) pictures, and have nowhere to buy it here. So I sent him...He went today, and he thinks he got the right stuff...He said it had a texture to it, which alarms me a little (since I want PLAIN cardstock) but hopefully he did ok. I think I'm most worried that the red won't be red, but rather a brick or orangey color...I felt bad asking him though, he told the lady that worked there I sent him on a mission...I wish I could have seen him in there trying to figure it out! I'm sure the employees got a good laugh out of it! He's not exactly their "traditional" customer.

Bazzil cardstock has a texture to it...it is wonderful stuff, I just LOVE it...but have tons of regular cardstock to use also. I hope that he got the right shade. Good luck!

hehe He just got here last night, and the first thing I did was check out the paper...It's actually the right colors and it only has a hint of texture...Not enough to even count in my book! It's fine, he did very good. I'm proud of him. I'm not sure I can get away with sending him back too often though...I think the ladies working there picked on him. hehe

Your story reminded me of last year I sent me WIFE into the LSS where I setup a list of the items I wanted for the holidays.

She went up to the counter and said "this may sounds wierd but my husband said he created a gift list here"

Of course they said "Oh yeah, Mike. Yup he did."

So that made it easier for her to get the right things for ME
