DB arriving first...can he check in?

My DB is arriving hours before us. Can I check-in online ahead of time and give my CC# so when he get's there the CM can charge the DDP to my card and then he can have his meals/snacks loaded on to his room key before we get there? This is one problem that will be solved my paying for the DDP before we arrive!

If he's listed on the reservation, he can check-in. If you do online check-in, he will get a packet that includes the room keys for all persons on the reservation. The DDP credits are pooled and all room keys have access to all of the credits.

I actually had this same problem 2 weeks ago. My sister got there before us, but because I didn't have charging abilities on their cards, they couldn't check in until the dining plan was paid for so was after we showed up. Hopefully you wouldn't have that problem. Of course, I checked in online and put a CC # on the account, but when I got there, they didn't have it anyway so I had to give it again.

I was afraid of this! It's not like my DB can't just pay OOP for his lunch and snacks that day (he's heading straight to the MK for a Dole Whip! ). He'll use the QS credit another day I'm sure, but being able to use the cc# from online check-in for the DDP would have been convenient.

Maybe I'll have my DB call me from the resort and I can give the CM the cc# over the phone?

If you do on-line check-in and enter a CC#, the DDP will be charged to that card on your check-in day. All room keys will be tied to that CC if you do this.
