I am trying to plan a trip to Disneyland for myself, my husband and our 3 kids (ages 8, 8, 10). We want to go from July 26-August 2. I am having a hard time finding a reasonable hotel for 5 that is within walking distance from Disneyland. We don't need airfare as we live in CA and are driving. I have checked all the reviews of different hotels and it is all very confusing. It seems like we need to get a suite for a family of 5. $200 or less per night would be what I would like to pay, but I will go as high as $250 per night. Noise is a big thing with me and I would like less of it. Refrigerator would be good, too. Hotel services (like restaurant, room service, conceirge) are not important, but a nice pool is.

I feel like I am asking too much. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

I would look into the Hojo Anaheim on Harbour Blvd. 159 a night. Has a fridge and a microwave.

Most hotels occupancy max. is 5 in a room. You could get a room with 2 queens and get a rollaway bed for the other child. This would be less expensive than a suite, if you are ok being in somewhat cramped quarters...I would guess you are not going to be spending too much time in the hotel anyway! I am staying at HoJos when I go, in a room with 2 queens and we have 5 people, although my kids are younger than yours and can all fit in one bed (hopefully).

It looks like Camelot Inn has a family suite for 230 a night for those dates.

I have stayed at Hojo's with 5 in a room (with a rollaway). They will charge you $10 or more a night for the rollaway, and it is a tight fit, but it worked out fine for us.

That bestwestern right across the street also has minisuites. I think with a budget of 200-250 a night you should easily be able to find something across the street.

I recommend calling the hotel directly, not calling the 1-800 number. Ask them about rooms for 5, rollaways, etc.

I just checked prices on Travelocity for the Best Western Park Place Inn, which is right across the street, and their prices for those dates are $150-$170 a night depending on any discounts you might get (AAA, etc.). This is for one of their "mini-suites" which includes 2 queen beds, a queen fold-out couch, small fridge microwave, etc. This is where my family of 5 always stays when we go to DL.

The Residence Inn Garden Grove has a one bedroom suite for $209/night - 2 queen beds, 1 sofa bed, full breakfast, appies at night Monday-Thursday and a two bedroom suite $249/night with 1 king beg, 1 bunk beds, 1 sofa bed, 2 bathrooms, breakfast, appies Monday-Thursday. These rooms also have fridge/microwave, Internet, and you can use the ART to get back and forth. We stayed in this area last time we went and it was great - not loud at all, easy to get back and forth, etc.

This one is within walking distance and alot of people said it was a decent hotel on here. We are staying here this September. They have a free continental breakfast (which is reported as not being much other than danishes and fruit) with Fridges and microwaves in the rooms.
