Daytona / airboat rides?

I really need your help...!

On our fourth trip to Orlando we've decided we are DEFINATELY going to go to Daytona and also do an airboat ride (we have tried to do this since trip 2!!)

Anyway not sure what there is to do in Daytona (we have a mixure of children and adults = 7 in total)

Also where is the best place to do an airboat ride??

Sorry.... sooo many questions.... so much planning

ive done the boggy creek airboats ride, we had a great time and the people at boggy creek were lovely we were staying offsite and we got a cab there and back....we were there for ages and we also had a bite to eat in the cafe

We did the Boggy Creek airboat ride on 4th January and thoroughly enjoyed it. Managed to see some aligators lurking in the water plus about twenty or so baby aligators sunning themselves on the banks of the lake.

Also did the swamp buggy trip which was great. Saw lots of deer, birds, racoons, more aligators and a bald eagle sitting on its nest, we even managed to see the chick - a definate highlight of our trip.

Go early in the day for the best chance to see the most animals.

Daytona Speedway tour is a must. Ride a Nascar if you've got the stomach / wallet. Don't miss the shop down by the track. Take the car on the beach. Visit Daytona Harley Davidson, eat at the Pig Pit.

We did boggy creek too and it was fabulous! I thought it was much better than the airboat ride i did at the everglades!

If you have space in your luggage, take a pair of binoculars for the airboat ride. You will see far more wildlife with them as the noise of the boats can scare away many of the birds. I really wish we had taken a pair with us.
