OK all you NASCAR fans...
We are looking to go to the Daytona 500 (2/20), is it better to have more time before - split the week up (Wed-Wed) or spend more time in WDW after the race? We are looking to do 7 nights.
I'm a DVC member so we'll be staying at the BWV and there will be 6 adults going.
Is there any time within that 2 weeks that the crowds are heavier/lighter? I'm thinking it will be crowded the whole time, but since we have never been there at that time, I'm looking for advice from the experts out there. We usually go in Oct or early Dec when you can walk right on any attraction. I'm sure this will be a shock for us.

I have gone in Feb. during President's week and the NASCAR race and found the parks to be just fine. In fact, I really enjoyed Disney at this time because the weather was nice. Not too hot and not too cold. Or maybe I just got lucky with the weather.

The weather is usually still slightly cool (low 70's). However, President's Day week can be very crowded. More and more school's are getting this time off every year, which is making it busier. If possible arrange to go to WDW before President's Day week, then do the race at the end of your trip. The week prior to President's Day is really quiet at the parks. It does get alittle busier near the end when people are arriving getting a jump on their vacations.
