Hi all,

Is there some kind of floating water parade past the MK resorts? When? How long does it usually last?

Thanks!

The Electric Water Pageant is a nightly display for the Magic
Kingdom Area Resorts. The pageant consists of two strings of seven barges, each carrying a 25-foot-tall screen of lights featuring King Neptune and creatures from under the sea in an aquatic parade set to Disney music. The pageant concludes with an inspirational salute to America, with Flags and Stars set to a patriotic musical score. It was originally presented for the dedication of the Polynesian Luau on October 26, 1971.

Although the pageant generally follows the schedule below, check
with the Guest Services Desk at a Magic Kingdom Resort for times
during your stay.

Polynesian Resort -- 9:00pm
Grand Floridian -- 9:15pm
Wilderness Lodge -- 9:35pm
Fort Wilderness -- 9:45pm
Contemporary Resort -- 10:05pm
Magic Kingdom -- 10:20pm (only during extended MK park
hours)

Hope this helps! :)

Forgot to mention--it is about 10 minutes long. Bad weather may affect the schedule but it is generally presented nightly.

:)

Glad to help! :) The Electrical Water Pageant is one of my "old-time" favorites at WDW. We make time for it every trip.

Happy Planning! :)
