I just read in SOD that Drake (John) is leaving when his contract is up in 6 months. The show will be cancelled in 2008 I think he said. Sad to see DOL go off the air. I won't have any soap to watch anymore.

Sorry, I thought he said 2008. He said that Jeff Zucker president and CEO of NBC has come out and said that he doesn't see NBC carrying daytime drama past March of 2009. Their contract is up March 2009.

Me too. Any excuse to get this "hunk" (I use that term loosely) in just a towel. I wanted to slap her for how she talked to Steve. Mary Beth Evans must be on a long vacation, she hasn't been on in weeks. I just hope they aren't "back burnered" now. I don't see any story for them coming up in the spoilers.

TV Guide said that Anna Dimera will be returning in the next few weeks. Wonder if it will help Roman's scenes get any more interesting

Great idea! Chris Kositchek was a good character, and he played well off of Wayne Northrup as Roman.

I really like Tony being back, and having Anna back will be nice too.

But talk about the "good ol days", my favorite all time couple was Eugene and Calliope!

Well, the Lexi surprise was ruined for me because it was listed in the show description that Lexi was back in Salem. I knew right then that it had to be her in the tunnel.

Mary Beth told us at the event she would be starting to tape again this week, and should be on the screen around 7/3. Seems S&K storyline will be built around Stephanie and her boyfriend for the summer. I hope they integrate them into the Dimera storyline, Steve has been put thru heck in all these lost years. And the Dimera/Brady feud should involve both of them also.

Drake also mentioned at his event (I did not attend, but many did) that he would be gone in 6 months time. The theme of his event was John Black, the Last Mission.......so we shall see.

I still like all the one liners the characters are having. Lucas said today the cop out side the door should be on a soap because he had that blonde , blue eyed look...

Delurking to say I just saw Anna DiMera on the pre-show for the Daytime Emmys on SoapNet! She aged very well! She said she hasn't been on the show for 21 years! Has it really been that long?? Wow!

I guess so, she was before my "time" of watching Days, and I've been watching since 1986. She must have just left when I started watching, cause I do not remember her being on the show at all.
