Oh thank god the whole Will has been kidnapped story is over, it was like watching paint dry to me. How long had he been missing anyways? It seemed like weeks, but it was probably just an afternoon.

OMG What did I miss? They found Will???? Busy putting up halloween decorations so I missed most of it.

The very last minute of the show, Will came in. We don't know yet where he was, but from the previews it doesn't seem that he was kidnapped.

Glad that storylines are getting tied up and they are moving on, but I will miss Frankie, I was glad when he came back. And why do they show Steve and Kayla like once a week???? And why are they not moving that storyline along a little faster??

Will was missing longer then Jack and Jenifer and they were gone 24 hours I think.

I wanted it to be a different person playing Will though. And you are right he wasn't kidnapped he ran away. Now they realize that someone is watching and listening to them to know Will left.

And surprise ....Marlena is missing again. Didn't show up for thing she was suppose to be doing. Now they are talking about the Dimeria's again.

I read that it ends up that Will ran away from home (to Chicago) because he was afraid the kids at school were going to make fun of his mom not getting married .... again! Whatever! I'm just glad it's over. I really like Sami and Lucas together, I hope this brings them closer!

And, I wonder who is going to take over as patriarch of the show once Grandma Horton isn't able to be there anymore. I am thinking it might turn out to be Maggie, she seems to be the voice of reason that is always by Alice these days.

I wish they would recast Mickey and get that character back on the show to be with Maggie, he had been there forever! I'm glad the last actor that played Mickey is gone though, the creeped me out!

Yeah, really! That's what I thought.

I guess we will have to watch tomorrow to see if that is what he really blames it on! Sounds lame to me! I think he is supposed to be in high school, but who knows how old he is, this is a soap! The only think I know for sure is, the last time I saw him he needed a hair cut!!

So the new man playing Mickey is gone also? or just not in the storyline right now....seems to me I remember the guy that played Mickey before this last guy, left for health reasons....can't remember for sure.

Wow, all these characters leaving and new one's being recast, it will be like a new show. And please, please Hope, listen to ME....quit being so bitter and move on

The old Mickey retired and the newest one was let go I think and is now back on General Hospital, that is were he was before.

Will still needs a hair cut....His character just drives me crazy.Please recast him and give him better lines.

Yes, the recast Mickey was a Quartermaine I think on GH, and he went back huh? Well, that is one I missed reading about leaving... Shows how much attention I had been paying lately...it will be nice to watch better stories and not FF through 3/4 of the show I have high hopes it will improve...it sure couldn't get much worse than what it has been

New writer stuff is suppose to start in Oct. So I too hope it gets better. I could watch it but then I couldn't fast foward then. I can almost say word for word what they are going to say because it goes around in a circle.

I agree they need to recast Mickey. If Frankie leaves who will get Chelsea out of jail? Ok is it time for Austin and Carrie to leave yet? My favorite line on the show lately was when Lucas said to Sami I wouldn't be able to find my soalmate if she was 2 feet in front of me. It was funny. Now get them back together. I really don't think I can take another day of all these woman whining on the show. Who is worse at this point the men or the women?

Okay I just finished watching todays Days. The new Shawn is on. He looks so much older then the other Shawn. Not bad to look at though. Some of his sentences sound like the old Shawn would say. Really don't see this one with Mimi. I also liked Mimi with her highlights in her hair, It made her look brighter I think and now she looks bland again IMO.

I find it funny that Shawn and Belle wanted to be together before they found out about Claire and now they are just moving them on with Mimi and Phillip. Mimi total her mother that Shawn and herself are just fine and they slept together the night before. Then they show Phillip and Belle going on with their life......This is driving me crazy. I don't think Shawn and Belle would be parted after this. Bad writing here I think.

I agree with you on the Shawn/Bell/Phillip/Mimi storyline! I wish it would end already. I am hoping that the awkwardness of the storyline right now is because of the two head writers' styles meshing. I am also hoping this new head writer will save us from some of these lame stories!

After reading the spoilers on that tvguide thing and over the past couple of days (today's is still on the tivo) I am finally getting excited again. Now if Bo would just tell hope to snap out of it and they find out that Hope's baby is Bo's I will be a very happy girl...

And for the first time in a long time, I can't wait to see today's show!

Okay, so I have been super busy and I just finished watching about 2 1/2 weeks of DOOL in the past few days. A few comments...

--Thank God Jack and Jennifer are gone so we can get on with storylines with folks who are staying on the show...hurry up Carrie and Austin's exit already.

--hooray Lucas found Carrie and Austin neckin on the roof, Shawn and Belle know Claire's paternity, the Will thing is over BUT disappointed Will was not recast during his hiatus..get that kid a haircut or make him a skateboard dude b/c I ain't buyin this whole baseball player thing.

--P-L-E-A-S-E recast Stephanie, she still creeps me out.

--Please don't hate me. I think Patch and Billie together is kinda hot.

--Now that Hope knows the truth lets get Patrick out of town and reveal that Bo is really the baby's daddy and have Bo and Hope back together.

--When is Kayla going to start being a doc and actually working instead of them just paying lip service to her career? Lexie needs someone at the hospital to share her workload especially since they are bringing back the Dimera angle which will involve her family so she will be tangled up in more webs.

Enough off my chest for now. Can't wait to see today's episode with the new Shawn.

is that Victor will be back today - now I REALLY can't wait to see today's show. I love Victor I hope they keep him around. I agree with another poster that I think Billie and Steve make a good couple. I'm kinda tired of the miss goody two shoes type that Kayla plays - she's gotta get some spunk in her and it is only me or are they dressing her kinda oldish, she's still young and beautiful - all the other women ont the show get nice (most of the time) outfist but her outfits are to me like for a 60 year old (and I am 62 and would not wear some of them). Please dress her better and give her some spunk or I think she will loose Steve to Billie, which as I've said I would not totally hate. Now all I need is Stefano back and I will be totally 100% happy (that is JM as Stefano and NO-ONE ELSE PLEASE AND NOT FOR SHORT TERM WE NEED HIM AROUND THE SHOW HAS BEEN SOOOOOOOOO DULL WITHOUT THE DIMERA'S) JMHO

OK I didn't like the new Shawn! I hate it when they change actors. It was good to see Victor back. I also don't like Mimi's hair. Usually she has such a cute hairstyle.

I just got back from my lunch break and watching Days. As for the new Shawn, I kind of like him-he's a decent actor and has the most beautiful blue eyes (even Hope made the comment today that Shawn's eyes match Claire's-as a cute nod to his baby blues!). I definitely saw a difference in the dialogue they gave the new Shawn. The other Shawn was so uptight all the time and brooding over everything. This Shawn smiled and seemed relaxed. Don't get me wrong-I liked the other Shawn a lot, but the new actor wasn't bad at all and I think he'll fit in quickly.

I agree with the comments about Stephanie-I thought I'd like her, but she's very unusual and doesn't mesh well with the other actors.

I'm so glad the writing is already starting to improve-I actually enjoy watching Days again!
