DAYS STAR PLEADS GUILTY

According to a report in the New York Post, Freddie Smith (Sonny, DAYS) has pleaded guilty to charges of vehicular assault and driving under the influence stemming from his October 7 car crash in Ohio.

Smith's girlfriend, Alyssa Tabit, was injured in the accident.

Smith's blood alcohol level was above the legal limit and he told a judge he fell asleep because he had been drinking.

If he gets jail time I wonder what will happen to his character, maybe recast ? Since he is front and center now. They are like 5 months ahead in filming though so who knows .

Will is back today too! I just know he is going to write a story on Paul. Wonder if he outs him , Sonny will flip.

I am so hating this new red head , it is like having two Melanie's on at the same time. She will fit in with Jenifer nicely with entitlement about her office.

So now we will have Jenifer, Abby , Melanie , Maxine and this Serena ? fighting with Anne and Theresa. Oh I forgot Daniel with the girls.

I did laugh when Jenifer said something about Anne's wrap dress...I thought that myself that is all she wears , at least this one is blue not black and white.

Haiden is still a mystery , is he a good guy or a bad guy. Can't believe Hope being a cop is digging more into his past.

I saw today's but have to catch up on the last two days. Have to find out why Kyla is acting that way about Adien.

Okay so caught up. Kayla is only now worried about Adien because of Bree that seemed disjointed to me. And if Julie really looked up Adien online why didn't she find his wife's story.

Still on Melanie over load. Can see more fighting with Theresa in our future there.

Loved how everyone one was dressed on Christmas Eve. Not sure why Hope wasn't for Christmas day?

I know it was a plot point for Ari to have a fever but to call the doctor right away seemed strange. The ending on both days with them showing everyone and John making Ari laugh.

Really really tired of Paige. What young person would go and sit at a doctor office to talk to him about not telling her the truth. Kim told you get over it.Laughed when she throw Daniel's and Kalya's name around to as if he would know who they are.

Sure hope the storylines are better in the coming year and we don't have to see jj and Eve again. I'm still surprised she didn't call rape yet, even though it was clearly not.

Trying to catch up after a busy Christmas season and then we were on the Wonder for New Year's Eve.

Caught up all but todays show.

Why does Melanie need her benefits today. If she is working her first shift why isn't she dressed like a nurse. When she was on before she was in scrubs. She is really getting on my nerves with this teenage behavior around Brady. Who cares if they kissed. Brady is acting all weird too.

Getting tired of the Paul/Will/Sonny scenes.

Paige just go away, go to college. I am not rooting for her or JJ

So what is Rafe going to do now? He did tell Chad he doesn't have to play by the rules but he still needs a paycheck. Maybe he can get a job at the hospital he knows Daniel.

Serena confusing me, what is she hiding in the safe? She also has some weird facial movements , maybe it is her eyes.

Hate that they are all coming down on Nicole. Daniel and Jenifer are still doing some flirting. Why can't she care about Eric.

Still don't know if Adien is a good guy or bad one.

Hope Kayla finds a better man the Bob.

Nice to see Gabi but thought it was really strange for her to hand Ari over to Melanie on her time with her. I think Melanie is going to be in Will and Sonny's life somehow because there was no need for Melanie to hold her or be around her.

I'm secretly hoping Melanie has a drinking problem or drug problem and that is why she is acting so strange. Because I'm sure Maggie will love Brady to be with her and John said if he was with Theresa he would be still doing drugs or dead.

Can't wait for the baby story to come out. I think that won't be until March though.

I was never crazy about Melanie. I always thought she looked too young for the part. She seemed too young to be married to Phillip and she still seems like a teenager.

I'm sick of the Paul/Sonny/Will story. It's like they are trying to force the gay story and it's awkward.

I wish Patch would come back for Kayla.

Loved all the romance between them instead of just hopping into bed. It seems that is all Abby and Ben do. Brady as well , one woman to the next it is crazy.

Caught up on today's show. Theresa is losing it. I liked Maggie soften to her. She did not like Melanie at all when they first brought her on either but let her stay with her. Theresa needs a break.

I really want to still like this show, but they are making it so hard. I didn't watch all last week, and I didn't miss it at all. Alison Sweeney really carried every story.

I just picture writers sitting around the table saying:

-Let's have them in bed, then them, then he cheats on her, them in bed, then she cheats on him.. awkward kiss.. talk about relationship, fight about relationship, yell, then they get in bed..

I know there used to be great story lines. Romance, mystery, where I couldn't wait to see what happened tomorrow. Now I just do something else while the soft porn is on my screen.

So the spoilers for the new year: a "who's the daddy" storyline with Theresa's and Brady's baby and

Adrienne and Lucas start a relationship. While I have been dying for Bryan to have more screen time, I'm not sure this is the way to do it. Guess I'll have to wait and see though. I'd like to see her divorce Justin (again) and Lucas spend a long time helping her get over him as a friend, and then things develop. J/A was one of the best stories ever because she was so broken, and we watched him put her back together. And it played out for more than a week before they had sex. Instead I'm sure they will get in a huge argument and rip each other's clothes off while she is still married. The theme of the "angry sex" is one I don't understand either.

Will cheating so easily on Sonny? Dan taking Nicole back again? And when did Lucas and Rafe become such besties? Why is Victor so eager to help Rafe? Some of these things seem so out of character.

Sorry I missed Gabi. But you're right, no way would she give that baby up for a second.

Dear Days writers: We would like something other than cheating, who's the daddy, and sex. Thank you.
