I am going to WDW next summer and have some tickets left from previous trips. Firstly, these never expire, correct? Secondly, some of them are 5 years old or so and have different amounts of days left on them, but we cant remember exactly how many on each. I know they can check them at the gates/turnstiles etc, but we want to find out before we arrive, incase we need to buy extra days. Is there any way of checking this in the UK, maybe at a Disney store? Or, can they be checked at DLRP, as I am going there this xmas? Any suggestions welcome.:wave2:

You CANT get them checked in the UK disneystores(sorry), not sure about DLP though.

I have a question re this too...............

We are aware that we have 2 days left on our hopper tickets.

Only problem is, one of the tickets is a childs aged 3-9, and if we go back in 2006, the child will then be 10!!!

Is it usable - or should we own up????

We were in the same situation this year and we just used it
with no problem.

I believe you can upgrade the ticket if you want.

I fairly sure that it is Disney policy to upgrade child tickets free of charge in these circumstances. I think you just take the ticket to customer services and they do it there.

We had the same situation last christmas where our youngest had gone from a child to an adult.

Took the ticket to customer services who issued us with a new adult ticket free of charge.

Hope that helps

I am in the same position with unused days and kids now classed as adults (14 and 10) by Disney so looked into this thoroughly a few weeks ago. So here goes.........

1. The only way you can definitely tell what is left on the ticket is in Orlando at Guest Relations where they will scan the magnetic strip on the back to see what is left.

2. If the passes were bought for children who are now above the age range Disney will allow them to be used for the children still, you don't have to pay an upgrade to adult price. You can usually use the same ticket but as said above you can swap to an adult but make sure if your child pass is a hopper the new one supplied allows hopping.

3. Generally you are better off using the unused days as park entries rather than trade in. Disney will give you the pro rata value of the purchase price for them which is normally less than the park entry. For example, if you bought a 5 day hopper for $100 and have 2 days left they will give you $100 / 5 x 2 = $40.

Hope this helps.

Tip for next time: write on the ticket how many days are still left..!

I did what jjpenguin did!

With my 7 day hoppers that we'd used different days on each,I drew 7 lines and 4 for the extras and as the girl in guest services told me how many days and extras we had I crossed off the used ones to give a running total!::yes::
