Days left on the old passes.

Ok we all know how smart everyone is here, mainly just on Disney stuff. But my question is this, we have 2 of the older passes. I think they each have one day and one plus. They were hoppers. I was wondering if there is a way to check how much is left before going to the parks? I hate to get up to the gate and find out that they are all used up. Wondering if anyone has called WDW guest services and got an answer. I like the passes that actually showed how many times they were used. I think we have gone there so many times that I am totally confused on what is left on the cards and what isn't. My DH first visit to WDW was with ride tickets. My first visit was with an 'all you can ride pass' for 2 days and that you had to wear this paper ticket on your clothes so the CMs working the rides knew that you could ride it free. They were fazing out the ride tickets.

So for all those in the know, How would I get this info before leaving home?

You can only find out after you get to WDW and have the passes scanned (you don't have to use the pass or enter a park to do this).

If you can foresee a vacation or holiday visit of just one, two, or three days at Disney, you are better off saving the old tickets until then. The tickets will be worth over $60. per day each.

Whereas if your vacation is six to ten days and you use up the old tickets, you will only cut three dollars off of the new passes you would buy.

If you are careful (not to insert the old pass in a theme park turnstile) you can use the remaining plus now and save the remaining day for the future.

It can only be done in person at WDW. Guest Realtions at the theme parks or DTD, Guest Services/Lobby Concierge or the front desk at the resorts can all do this for you by scanning the tickets.

That puts it somewhere in the 1971 to 1980 range.

That was between 1981 and Epcot's opening in October '82. Lots has changed since then.
