We will be flying out of Philly in Jan and I have been looking for a hotel with park and fly. I narrowed it down to Days Inn they had the best rate, I am not overly picky about the room it is just to sleep in. We fly at 7:55 the next morning so b-fast doesn't even matter. I chose the hotel based on price, how well they answered the phone and it has a pool (my kids would use it B4 bed) Before i booked it I wanted to put it up for comment. I'd hate to get there and find out something is really really wrong with the place.:scared1: So if you have been there please share your comments.

I work very close to PHL (it's about a mile from my office). That Days Inn, if I am thinking of the same one, is in kind of an iffy area, IMHO. I have not stayed there, but I am familiar with the area. It is not far from PHL, but there are a bunch that are closer.

Here are a few others to check out -- the ALoft sounds pretty neat and they have some nice deals.

There is another Marriott that is basically IN the airport, but the rooms are pricey and so is the parking.

A little further away from PHL there is a Holiday Inn, which is quite nice (right next door to a Denny's) and a Quality Inn. I believe that both offer airport shuttles and I believe that the HI is one of the hotels the airlines use for their staff. Avoid the Ramada if you can; the property is in dire need of a rehab.

I'd by-pass the days-inn as well.
Do yourself a favor, and splurge and get a decent hotel. You don't want to start your vacation with an iffy hotel room.
