DL half - coast to coast medal! Done
It was a bit less boring than I remembered LOL… spectators definitely helped

And my Garmin says i’m in “Productive” status… quite the change from the “Strained” at wdw… hopefully it will last until Princess

Back to Michigan for 6 days… ️…

This felt like a significant improvement in terms of crowd support. Not sure if it’s due to the route change, the fact that this is the last one for awhile, etc.

I really liked the half! Honestly it was kinda cool seeing Anaheim and I was really impressed with the crowd support. Coast to Coast accomplished! Time for large quantities of yummy things!

The 5k and 10k were my first DL races since the Avengers and Star Wars half marathons oh so long ago, and I had a blast. Big congrats to anyone who also participated in the half today. I felt a little regret about not registering for the half (or at least trying), especially while at the expo and seeing all the merch, but my knees are probably happier today.

I'm sorry I waited so long to run Disney again (was registered last year, but opted out due to the fires and almost didn't this year because of Surf City), but am glad I got to participate in if not the final DL race weekend, as least one of the last for a while.

If you’re looking for castle photopass pics today, on the right side of the castle there’s a photographer who’s kind of hidden behind a construction wall by the pixie hallow with no line compared to the long line on the left side of the castle.

Look at the red circle below. Is that were you were standing? If so, that's one of the best locations for a castle pic if you want people in the foreground. It is on the walkway from Astro Orbiter to the castle.

Apparently they had to cut the left side line, i must have been lucky bc it ended up being about 15 min when i did it. Also a nice spot in the shade near there for non photo pass.

My pictures turned out great and I waited zero minutes. That’s all I was sharing. There’s also not much foot traffic because of the aforementioned construction wall.

So odd! When I enter my code using the "2026-LAND-10KX-XXXX" format I get a "you're already linked" box but zero photos from the race show up in my gallery. Anyone else having the same issue?

Look at the email you received last week (with your bib number and check in pass). It has a different code. Use that one and your pictures should load.

Ah, got it! This worked - thanks so much! That is so odd that their HM weekend results and photos page (https://www.rundisney.com/results/disneyland-half-marathon-weekend/2026/) has different instructions and does not mention the different code on the check-in pass...

I know. We did the same thing. My spouse read on the FB page that the code was on the check in pass.

I know other posters have commented but it changed to the new codes via check in pass vs the bib number code a few seasons ago but typical Disney that the website was outdated

Back in room after full day in Disneyland!

Loved the half course and the weather! So much less humidity than WDW!

Ran my fastest half since 2017!! Daughter missed a sub 2 hour Half by 45 seconds!

Safe travels home, everyone…hope to see you at Springtime Surprise weekend!

Well that was a very nice weekend, they hit all the right notes for what hopefully will be a shortish break rather than the end.

Only minus was that after mile 6 I started developing pain in my right outer knee and it eventually reached the point where I mostly walked the rest, was not a good time. I'm just now googling what it might be and discovering that it might be that IT band thing that I've heard such wonderful things about here. So I'll have some reading to catch up on!

All packed up and just waiting until the hotel kicks us out since our flight back to Houston isn't until 3:30pm. That was a fun weekend. Loved the races. The time running through the parks is unmatched. I wish WDW could do something similar, but we know that won't happen. Experiencing that day after lull like something is already missing. But we are headed down to Princess HM at the end of the month, so not a long lull. Safe travels all and hope to see the Dis crew back at the light pole at the end of the month.
