Days Inn on Harbor

Because I'm a planner, I'm already researching hotels for next year. This summer we stayed about 4 miles from DLR to save money; I see that Days Inn on Harbor (Days Inn Disneyland Park) has very reasonable rates, but I'm not sure about the reviews. Has anyone on here stayed there? I take Yelp etc reviews with a grain of salt but trust you guys.

Yes, actually. I stayed there for 1 night before a race. I was only physically in the hotel for about 12 hours including a post race shower and barely saw it in the daylight. There were holes in the blanket on the bed. The bathroom was one of the cleanest ones in a motel, no water marks or anything, but the pocket door didn't close all the way. The guy at the front desk was friendly and enthusiastic, but he was fielding calls and guests were in and out expecting things while I was trying to check in. I don't hold it against him, but something to consider as far as service for a longer stay. The parking spaces were decent size, which is an issue at several places on Harbor. I think I paid $65-70 after taxes. I wouldn't walk from there. I'd rather pay in the $110 range and not have to cross Ball.

Its not a bad thought to stay a couple miles away. The "Resort District" proper is where prices spike on most items (hotel, parking, foodstuffs). Suprisingly enough, Motel 6s in the area are decent basic deals in most cases. Bed, shower, tv if that's all you're looking for. Hotels in Westminster, Buena Park(Knotts), and surrounding areas will offer a price break due to location but are only a few miles away. If you're planning to get a rental car, it's certainly an option.

Even though you are not staying at a DLR Hotel, most hotel features and restaurants are still available to general public.

Yes, thanks. We have stayed on property, across Harbor and 4 miles away during multiple trips over the past couple years. Our last trip we stayed 4 miles away and paid to park every day, which still cost less than staying across the street and parking for free. I was just wondering with this particular hotel. We probably would still drive and park rather than dealing with walking even that distance.

If you're looking for a no frills good price option we love Super 8 on Katella. It's always clean, parking is free, right by Garden walk and has a limited free breakfast, great to grab and go.

We typically get the best rates on Orbitz as low as 59/night to average of 75/night. Staff is always friendly to us and rooms are always clean and spacious.
