Days Inn Florence SC

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to ask this in but we will be driving to WDW in April; leaving April 16 from NY and wanted to stay in Florence,SC overnight. I made reservations at Days Inn North in Florence but have recently read a bad review. Have any on you ever stayed there and can you tell me what you thought of it or can you recommend another hotel in the area?

Also, on our way back up we would like to stop overnight in Virginia. Can anyone recommend a hotel there?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
