Days around the 4th of July

We will be there July 3 - 8. Will our whole trip be a lost cause due to the crowds?????????

A very good friend of mine goes for the 4th of July every year. They seem to get a lot done, but I would say you definately need a plan!!! The parks are open later, the fireworks are awesome, sounds like fun to me! Have a great time!

We've also made many summer trips, and this will be our third time going for the 4th of July! (My favorite time is the week AFTER Thanksgiving though!!)

As the other poster said, I think its important to have a plan. Use fastpass. We like to get up early and hit the parks; then go back for a nap/swim break. Then we go back in the early evening and stay as late as we wish. (Usually, the crowds have thinned out a lot as the day wears on).

If there are any "must do" restaurants, be sure to make your PSs as soon as possible.

Then - go and have a GREAT time!!! By the way, we'll be there July 2-10; maybe we'll see ya there!!!

We will also be joining you for the 4th! We have been to the world during all seasons. Personally, we like the summer because of the long hours. We have found over the years that with a little planning and some flexibility, the additional park hours far outweight the crowds, heat and thunderstorms. Have fun!!

This will be our first July in the "World". We'll be at OKW from 7/3 - 7/10. Can't wait to see what kinda shows they put on for the 4th!

We will be arriving in Orlando on July 3rd and leaving July 7th and we too are a bit worried about the crowds. We are booked for Cindy's on July 5th and the Hoop Dee Do on the 4th. We have a game plan in mind. Hope to see some of you there! Anyone staying at POFQ during this time???
