day 4&5 sept 7 trip report
DAY 4
This was the day of our champagne breakfast in bed. We checked off 730-8 but they called at 715 and said the couldnt delived until 830 because thats when the restaurant opens. We had checked off almost everything he brought in like 8 trays. They know its for 2 people so if you put in a 2 somewhere, you will get 4 servings. We wanted to just chill today. So after breakfast, out to the pool. DH went to bingo and then to the disembarkation talk. We also preordered Aladdin and did some shopping that week but the shops dont open until later. So around 1pm, we went to the seafood buffet that was definitely not as good as we had 2 years ago. Oh well, what can you do. After lunch we went to Disney dreams and sat in the front row which normally I hate to do, but now I am glad I did. We walked around and took a nap before dinner. It was formal night but we had dinner in PALOS. Our new friends invited us to their veranda room to celebrate their 10th anniversary. It was pretty late and we took a moment to remember those involved in sept 11.We tried to get lots of pics taken but the lines were soooo long. After dinner we went to the atrium so see all the characters say goodbye that was a madhouse but it was nice see everyone again. We had to have our bags out by 11pm so at around 1030 we went upstairs to pack and had our romantic turndown which was really nice. It was then we realized our cell phones were missing and no we didnt pack them. We had to call security and he had to check our lock to see who had been in there. Everyone denied they had been in there but who wouldnt ya know? Oh well.
DAY 5
DH woke up to talk to customs about declaring the liquor and there was no line. Obviously people hid them in their luggage. I wish we had done that and saved 15 bucks. We had breakfast with our dinner people one more time actually got in line to leave. We found out the night before we were sailing into Canaveral which made people happy. We took a van with another family back to the hotel and got there about 10-15 minutes before the buses. All in all, I had a good time. 2 years ago, I rated the cruise a 9. this trip was a 6 or 7. the food just wasnt as good except at Palos. We figured they just didnt have the supplies they needed..im trying to give them any excuse they could have. If you have any questions. Please email or PM me..
