Wow I was just starting my October newsletter for school and I cant believe how late daylight savings time ends this year!!!!
Oct 31 I never remember it being this late
WOW
Have a disney nite!!!:earsgirl: :earsboy:

You mean I have to wait until the end of October to get my hour of sleep back!LOL

Does that mean those of us going to MNSSHP on Oct 31st get an extra hour? Bonus if we do!

I got married Oct 30th '93 and it was the night we got to turn the clocks back. It was great because by the time we got to the hotel in Toronto, it was 2:30AM but really only 1:30AM. Worked out great since we had to be at the airport by 7AM so at least it was a little extra sleep.

My DD was born when we turned the clocks ahead, so it always sounds like I was in labour for an hour longer than I really was :p

So if the clocks move back at 2 am and you have an appointment at 2am, what time do you have to be there? The new 2am or the old 2am being the new 1am? I hope I don't have any appointments booked that day, I am all confoozed.

What kind of appointment would you have at 2am in the morning???;)

Do you really wanna go there? LOL

I KNEW that was gonna get me into some trouble :teeth: My friend was at my desk when I posted that and she had a field day with it.

I might have a booty call.

(If I wasn't married and had the energy for it!)

(Now that I think on this, if I had a booty call scheduled for 2AM on the day that the clocks go forward I would be able to *perform* for an hour and 3 minutes......) *runs to get his appointment book.... I might be onto something here, I think this revelation will save more marriages than Dr. Phil!

Isin't it always Halloween and Aprils Fool? those weekends, just around then?

Then again.....what am I saying...... I am a guy and I'm trying to offer info on dates.... It's enough for us to remember our own birthdays.....

I'm confused too......

Isn't usually the Saturday to turn back the clocks.....then it would be Oct 30th.

Or are they waiting due to Hallowe'en, then turn back on Sunday Night. Oooooh there might be a lot of people really early for school/work then........:scared1:

Or is it that maryliz needs another hour for her anniversary.......how many years is it??? :teeth:

The clocks turn back at 2AM Saturday night which is technically sunday the 31st. We've been married 11 years :earseek: Not sure about needing that extra hour for celebration but I'll keep it in mind ;)

On our first trip to WDW in 2001, we forgot that the time fell back and thought we were 1/2 hour late for MNSSHP that night because we took a nap.

We were so surprised when the CM said the park would open in 10 minutes when we got there. We said funny...It's 7:50 pm should it not be open already? She said no it's 6:50 pm...I was so embarassed...

So I guess that means that we do all get the extra time at the MNSSHP .. and just an extra hour @ WDW in general ... WOOHOO!

Great booking time pjpoohbear :p

Will we even be at the parks when the time changes, or will we be at PI or even in our beds buy that time. Children remember the rules!
