Next year daylight savings time will begin on March 11th. Do you think the parks will stay open later in order to do the nighttime fireworks and parades.

The fireworks shows are dependent upon darkness, so the shows will only take place after sundown.

Regardless of the "clock" time, that's the earliest the shows will take place.

Last June, like around the 18th or so, we watched Illuminations at 9PM and it was plenty dark for it. Way more sunlight at 9 at that time of year than on DST changing day, I doubt the parks need to change their hours.

IllumiNations is never a concern, it stays 9pm, year-round (except durng some "Candlelight Processional" nights.

But MK in the off-season can close at 6pm or so.
That can be a bit of a problem if the days are still somewhat "long".

I'm quite sure they will adjust the schedule for that but remember the days are pretty short that time of year anyway so it shouldn't be a real problem.

March isn't really the off-season with the spring breakers coming in.

Even so, the day light changes aren't as drastic in in FLA as they are up here (OH for me, PA for the OP). March 11 is still "winter" so dark enough at 6 shouldn't be a problem, I wouldn't think.

Then again if it needs to be darker and the parks stay open later, everybody wins! It's a victimless crime!
