daybeds? @ DL hotels

Are there daybeds in any of the onsite Disneyland hotels?

Many of the rooms at the Disneyland Hotel have daybeds.

I don't know about the standard rooms at PP, but the Disneyland hotel's couches make into a small bed....my oldest was 18 when we were there, and she fit fine. It does't fold out, they just remove the back cushions.
The Grand Californian has rooms that have bunk beds and a trundle underneath the bunkbeds, so that 3 people can sleep in those. A medium size adult would fit in any of those. They don't have couches that fold out.

I was told when I booked for my family of five at the Disneyland Hotel that the room had a daybed (I had asked for a rollaway, but it wasn't necessary I guess).

I guess you could call the couch that makes into a bed a "daybed". It's just a different term for the same thing.

There were 5 of us...my husband and I slept in one queen, we put the 2 younger kids in the other queen, and the 18 year old on the daybed/couch bed.

There isn't really room for a roll-away. I know the Grand Californian doesn't have rollaways. It's either the bunkbeds, or a sleeping bag, provided by them.

At the Grand Californian, some of the rooms with two queen beds have the bunk beds (big enough for a medium size adult) and a pull-out trundle bed under the bunk beds. So in those rooms, you could theoretically sleep 7. Some of the rooms with 2 queen beds only have a fold-out couch, and the same with the King bedrooms. You make a request at booking, and they'll do your best to accomodate.
We had requested 1 king and the bunkbeds, but when we arrived, they said they didn't have one. I'd made the reservation nearly a year in advance...but, what are you going to do? At the last minute, the CM checked again, and found us that type of room. We loved it!
