I'm taking my daughter to college tomorrow and we'll be in Waikiki Beach for three days before she starts orientation. We would like to see Aulani. Can we just drive over there and park? We'd like to eat at one of the restaurants and perhaps get a manicure at the spa. Is this allowed for non-resort guests?

Yes, restaurants, shops, and spa are available to non-guests. You'll need to pay for parking or get validation, here's the criteria:

if you go to lagoon 4 early enough in the morning , there will be free parking available. Also there are some free spots between each hotel, but again, you have to get there early.

The only thing you can't do is use the pool area or chairs on the beach. Those are guest only.

My daughter is going to University of Hawaii at Hilo. I figured she should see Oahu before spending 4 years on Hilo.
