My DD hit send before I was ready.....

Now it's time for BTMRR which DD3 has been so excited about. We got some bday magic here...the standby line was 15 so we decided to try it but the CM at the front noticed DS button and wrote out a fastpass for us!!! So the kids took off running and we ran all the way to the train and got right on. Well, DD5 and DS8 love this ride, and DD3 thought she would also!! NOPE!! Screamed the whole way...I was trying to comfort her by saying, "Look at the goat"...."Look, there's the castle". Her reply, "NOOOOOOO". All the way out and walking away from the ride she very firmly said, "I do not want to ride that train ANYMORE!" Oops....

Haunted Mansion was next and always great. We got to catch the new stone there and her EYES!! Awesome-ly creepy. The ride stopped quite a bit so I got to point out some interesting things to the kids...like the Hidden Mickey on the dining table.

We headed to Fantasyland to catch some rides we missed back in Jan so we got a FP to Peter Pan and rode IASW, the carousel, played at Ariel's, the Tea Cups, met the White Rabbit and the Tweedles, then ventured in to meet the VILLAINS!! Cruella, Jafar, Queen of Hearts, and Prince John were there. It was time for Peter Pan so off we went. Baby Z had a habit of covering his mouth with both his hands when he got nervous about a ride and on the tea cups I really thought he was going to puke...he did this again on Peter Pan.

Tomorrowland was next.....SPACE MTN!!!! We march right up, Katelyn passes the "test" and off we go. There was NO line so we nearly ran through the queue which was a shame because there is pretty neat stuff to look at in there. This was DS8 and DD5 first rides. Nicholas was very nervous but did well. I kept asking him how he was doing....Katelyn was screaming for joy!! As we were getting out of the rocket the CM told Nicholas Happy Birthday, and I casually asked if we wanted to ride again would we have to go all the way out and around...the guys behind her said yes. She said sorry. Then as we rounded the corner she caught up to us and told us about a shortcut that would take us to the front of the line...thanks so much to her!!!! DS wasn't quite thrilled but he bravely got back on and off we went again. This ride was much smoother than the first, don't know why. But it was great and what a bday treat!

Now little DD and DS were sleeping so DH took oldest DS and DD to Buzz. They pretty much walked right on. It didn't have FP on the whole day because they hadn't needed it. After they came out Buzz showed up so we met him, he was hilarious, pulling Katelyn's hair and covering up her eyes when I would try to take a picture. Then it was time for the parade so DH and Nicholas decide to skip it and ride Buzz a few more times and the rest of us go watch the parade. Then Rich (DH) took the boys to do some car racing while I took the girls to watch Belle's show. It was so cute! We met back in Fantasyland to get some pressed pennies for the kid's classmates then we decided to take a spin on Dumbo. Big mistake. Once we got up to the ride DD5 climbed right in and DD3 threw a fit!!! I held up the whole ride trying to convince her to ride and then trying to convince DD5 that she would have to wait...then I see DH walking from the other side of the ride with Baby Z...he refused to ride also! So DS8 and DD5 were able to ride together. Sorry to all those folks we held up on the ride!!

Now it was time for our PS in the castle. I had been looking forward to this for months! I had heard that usually it's just Fairy Godmother there so to our surprise we turned the corner and there's CINDERELLA!!! DD3 just climbed right into the throne with her and talked and talked. She was so kind and friendly and took so much time with the kids...it helped that we were the only ones in there for awhile. When we went upstairs we were pleasantly surprised to be seated at a table near the middle windows...we had a wonderful view of Fantasyland as it was getting dark. Again the table was decorated for DS bday. Our server was terrific and we all thought the food was PERFECT!! The kids was standard chicken nuggets, potatoes and corn. But DH had the Prime Rib still mooing and I had the Kingdom Feast. They were both delicious and melted in our mouths. Right as the fireworks started a CM brought Nicholas a cup of something and told him it was for his bday and for being so well-behaved. It was FULL of tiny Mickey head confetti!! They also brought out a cup of ice cream with a chocolate crown on it! What a present...delivered during the fireworks!!!

We stayed and finished eating and didn't leave the castle until almost 7. The park was virtually empty as it had closed at 6. As we walked down the ramp we turned to take some pictures and I noticed that the castle had changed colors and the windows were twinkling....anyone see what's coming here???? So I quickly tell everyone to run down to the front of the castle and watch and listen carefully and a voice came on telling us what a great day it was and then Mickey came on to tell us goodnight. The castle is changing colors and sparkling this whole time and I'm videotaping and DH is taking digital pictures....I'm crying and DD5 says, "Mommy, I can't help it, my eyes are full of tears!" I kept saying, "This is it...this is the kiss goodnight!!" After it was over, we all just sat and hugged and laughed...I hadn't thought we would see it and to have walked out of the castle right at that time. We were all alone to see it! What pixie dust and bday magic!

We slowly made our way down Main St and picked up a few more souvenirs then begrudgingly left the park. It was a great day...the kind of day you hope you can burn into your kids' memories and turn into magic in their own hearts. Gotta love this place!!!

What a perfect ending to a wonderful day!! I got a lump in my throat just reading about it. Thanks for posting! :D
