We attended our Character Breakfast in Parrot Cay. Wait staff was great again and we had fun with the characters. Immediately following breakfast - we played Bingo again!!!
Next we arrived in Key West. We were able to eat lunch at Topsiders because our excursion wasn't until 1:40pm We disembarked and walked around until our meeting time. It was alittle hot and humid but not as bad as I expected. When you get off the ship you are basically on the Hilton Key West site. I was happy to see this resort because I tried to stay there this spring.
Our excursion was "Back to Nature Kayak Trip". We took a boat from the dock, right off the ship to the mangroves. We were separated into pairs and then the entire group was split in half. It was alittle hot so we immediately splashed each other with our oars. That was fun!!! Then the tour guide (who was very young - 17 years old) took us thru the mangroves. I can't say that I saw any nature but boy did we laugh our heads off!!!! Most of the time we had about an inch clearance between the mangroves and the kayak and there wasn't much head room either. We were stuck constantly and banging into each other. Surprisingly, this made us laugh hysterically.
We finished much earlier than the other group so we swam around for a while when we went back to the excursion boat. We shopped around alittle bit more and then returned to the ship. Dinner was in the Parrot Cay. Following dinner we saw Michael Harrison. Since I was still pretty tired from traveling, I didn't enjoy this show that much. Immediately following, we watched "Match Your Mate" hosted by Que. Once again, we laughed hysterically. The oldest couple won again. They were a class act.
