March 5th
Day trip to Disney
Well the day started at 4.30am for me when my alarm went off and my friend (who was still awake) decided to ring me, 15 missed calls later i told her to bog off
I had a bath and got dressed etc then woke Kyra up at 5.30am and got her sorted, my dad then arrive at 6.20am to take us to Ashford international. Operation Stack was in place so im glad we left earlier, also my dad had to get work in London. Arrived at Ashford at 7.15am so had to wait 15mins before we could check in. People were giving me strange looks (unless im just being paranoid
) maybe they had never seen anyone go on a day trip DLP with a small toddler who knows
Kyra chilled in the play area while my other friend rung me as i said i was feeling lonely with no one to talk to. I also text mr disneyman to say we was waiting for our train and he replied to have a good day in his little kingdom and that he would see me later
Soon it was time to board the train where NOBODY helped me, its not easy with a 2yo, 2 bags and buggy to get on the train all at once so tbh i was bit upset that noone helped me even tho people had seen me struggling. We found our seat and the person sitting next to me really didnt look amused so the nice guy sitting on the other aisle gave up his seat so me and kyra could sit there which was really nice of him.
After 2 hours of colouring and drawing we was soon at Disney...
We had a tight schedule so 1st stop was the studios where luckily Minnie was still doing her meet and greet so we queued up for that, we saw some young kids poking poor Daisy duck so in the end she left, dont blame her i wouldnt like to be poked.
We then went to see Mickey but the CM said he was leaving but would be back at 2pm, i asked weather he would accept a picture Kyra had drawn and she said yes so that was good....
Next stop the magic carpet ride, Kyra liked it but it wasnt the best ride i have ridden After that we went and waited for the Walt Disney studio parade, i wanted to see this last time but never got round to it. Kyra decided to fall asleep so she missed the whole thing. She woke up when it was over though so we then went back to see Mickey where she presented her colouring picture to him which he loved had her photo and then we went on our way to watch Animagique and we sat right at the front.
We loved this show the 1st time round and it was a pleasure to watch again. Kyra clapped all the way through bless her.
Afterwards she needed to toilet, and on the way out of the studios we saw Chip and Dale and Clarice(is that her name) also hanging outside the toilet door was the duck from duck tales which i thought was a odd place to hang
We left WDS and made our way to Disneyland Park ready to watch OUAD parade. As always we loved it, i was singing my little heart out
After the parade i went to see if Casey Jr was open and
it was. Kyra really loved this little ride and i like how it plays the Casey jr song, very catchy.
It was 5.15 now and i was meeting my Disneyman at 5.45 but i decided to see if he could meet earlier as i wanted to wind Kyra down before we got on the train, so i sent him and text and said he would see me in 10mins...
Ok i was nervous about meeting him as the circumstances on how we met are quite unusual but i need not of worried he was lovely, bless him with his blue folder, we met outside Disney Village as he was working there that day and he took us to the Sports Bar....
Kyra had the rest of her packed lunch while me and mr disneyman spoke
we spoke about Disney of course and just other stuff in general. He brought me a cocktail which went straight to my head, then he walked us all the way to the station and even to Passport control where we had a hug and a little peck on the cheek before saying goodbye. Such a gentleman
(little did i know his evening would turn out with him getting crushed and ending up in hospital thanks to a ride called ToT lol)
A lovely man helped me on to the train and we was on our way home. We didnt do alot on our day trip but we saw the things we wanted to see and i would definatley do a day trip again.
Promise to add pics as soon as i get my dads USB lead for his camera.
