Day trip to LA after park days

Headed to LA to see the Lakers after DL and DCA, any recommendations for things to do prior to game time (night game). Anything around that general area (Lakers arena) that you might suggest?

Will you have car or just want to stay near arena via public transit?

There’s the Natural History Museum and CA Science Center just south of USC.

Also would recommend a stroll through Grand Central Market and Angels Flight across the way. Some fun eats there. If you get one taco at Taco Tumbras a Tomas, it’ll be plenty for one person. Donut Man.

Both of these should be a few metro stops away.

I will add in The Getty Center. Great views, lovely grounds, good food. But you'd need a car and to factor in traffic.
Also, the La Brea Tarpits over on Wilshire .. great science spot with archeologists working where you can observe them. And their museum store is one of the best in the area (Getty is my fav).

You might check if there's anything of interest happening at the Walt Disney Concert Hall...it's a beautiful venue, even to just check it out from the outside. You can go up to the lounge in the Conrad Hotel across the street, lovely views from the outdoor decks. Lots of other theaters and museums in that area (downtown).
