Today it is definitely Downtown Disney. At the bus stop for Disney we pick up a taxi which is great because arrange for him to pick us up a 10 o’clock that night as we will be going to Magic Kingdom for Spectromagic and Wishes.

I have never been before to DD and I loved the market place.

I bought a bag and a Winnie the Pooh mug from the Disney store. :wizard: We had a look around the shops; I thought the other side where Disney Quest is was not as nice somehow it seemed a bit tatty. We went into Disney Quest and had a go on a few of the games but I couldn’t quite get the hang of it so after about half an hour we left and headed for Planet Hollywood for lunch.

When we went to in April I was given vouchers for a free meal for Planet Hollywood but we never made it down here so I was determined this time we would use them. :) I remembered what I had read on the Dis boards at that time and told the waiter that I would be tipping separately. The meal was good but I think I expected more as to me it seemed slightly tatty and overcrowded with tables, but I don’t want to complain as it was free apart from the tip. ;) After a last look around we headed back to the bus for the I Drive. This time instead of going to the Polynesian we get of the bus at the Contemporary so we have a look inside. We get in the lift for the 4th floor for the monorail and I couldn’t believe how quick it was, wow.

Once on the monorail its back to the transportation centre and buses so we can get back to the I Drive.

After an hour or so resting we get ready to back to Magic Kingdom, I missed these last time so it was another I would be able to cross off my list. After a pleasant journey back we arrive at MK where we go and have an ice cream and a sit down.

We then make our way to Mickey’s Philharmagic for one last time (I just love this). We have a look around as I am trying to find a T shirt from Splash Mountain but I don’t have any luck. It’s nearly time for Spectromagic now so we go and find somewhere to stand; on the way we have a baked potato as we suddenly realise we haven’t eaten since breakfast (that could explain the noise coming from my stomach). We finally find a space but it would have been better had the chap with the video next to me could have stood back as he was continually blocking my view. I took some photos but my camera doesn’t do as well with the flash.

After that we had a look at Splash Mountain but we both won’t sure about riding it in the dark so we found a bench and waited for Wishes. :cloud9:

Wishes was brilliant well worth waiting to see. It was definitely worth waiting to see them both and I am sure if I go back both of them will be on my list of must do’s; simply magic.

Looks like another good day :)

Can I ask what camera do you use for the photographs?

I used a Minolta Dimage Digital Camera I think it is 4mp ( I say used as it has broken, the bit fell off that goes around the lens). I do clean them up as digital photos have a tendancy to be 'noisy' if you zoom in. I also take them on an angel setting and rapid shoot so I end up with a few of each photo I delete the ones I don't want but it has lessoned the chances of me getting blurry photos as I just keep the button pressed. :)

Great pics Cazzie and another good report. We saw Wishes for the first time this year and it was fantastic. DH was taking the pictures and said he felt he missed alot of the ambience, trying to get good pics so next year we are just going to watch and not take any pictures. We did see Tinkerbell fly though, which was great :flower:

Thanks Joh, next time I am going to make sure I have a video recorder for the Parades etc as it would be great to be able to watch them when I got home.

Great report and stunning piccies ~ Thanx for posting.

I love the Contemporary shops :) Wonderful colours on your piccies.
