Here is my plan for arrival day. Please tell me if you think I'll have time to get all of this done.

arrive at MCO at 11:45
take ME to POP
checkin @POP
check out room.
have rental car shuttle pick us up @ 2:30 to go to (alamo)Car care ctr. (or should we just take a taxi?)
Be at Car care ctr @ 3:00
go to walmart
go back to POP to put away walmart stuff
be at CP for dinner ressies @ 6:15(drive or take bus?)

I have never rented from the Car care ctr before but the rate seems to be better from there this year , so I am kind of stressing thinking that I wont have enough time for all of this...

Hi I would take a taxi to pick up the car to save time.
Also the car center can be very busy.....not sure about that time of day....we picked a car up there in Feb 2008 and we where there for about 2 hours in line :headache:(that was a pick up in the am).
So to pick up the car, get to Walmart and back for a dinner ressie might be tight......perhaps go to Walmart after dinner. Hope that helps
Have a great trip ;)

Just my opinion mind you.

Rent your car from MCO and let your bags go Magical Express.
Drive to Walmart and get your gear, then check in.

Hang out at the pool with the several hours you just saved, then drive to CP - I can't think of what CP is but if it is at a reosrt I would drive!

That will save you at least 2+ hours or transfers and waiting for buses, etc. I can't imagine enterprise at the Car Care Center having better rates than say Dollar or Budget from the airport.

I'd love to let my bags go on the magical express by themselves:rotfl:but you are not allowed to. someone from your party has to be on the bus, and we dont want to split up this time.

my rate is with alamo at the car care ctr, for $202 total wed to wed. the mco rate was 100.00 more:scared1:
CP is crystal palace:goodvibes

ugh 2hrs! I was planning on checking in online or doing that self serve kiosk (I think they have them there?)
hopefully that will be a little faster:goodvibes

You should be OK, but I would go to somewhere closer than the Wal*Mart. I would also drive to the MK instead of taking the bus. The buses can be slow in the late afternoon and early evening.

ok thanks, what store is closer? we want to get one of those styrofoam coolers and a few other things so it dosent have to be walmart just whatever is closest...

Somehow I don't think they would refuse to deliver your bags if you did not board the bus.

Imagine if you miss your flight but your bags made the flight. They are all about efficiency, I doubt they would wait until after you board a bus to load your bags onto the delivery bus. Just my opinion though.

There is a Publix that is only 4 miles away from Pop Century at 2925 International Dr, Kissimmee, FL. It's in "Xentury City" which is at the intersection of International Drive South and 192. Just take a left on Victory Lane out of Pop Century to Osceola Parkway, take another left and go over I-4 to International Drive South (Gaylord Palms is at the corner) and take a right. The Publix is to the right after you go under 417. It takes maybe 10 minutes to get there and they will have coolers and whatever else you need.

Or ... if you really want to go to the Wal*Mart then why not do it after dinner? The Wal*Mart is open 24/7 (I think) so you can pick up your car and then go right into the MK for some fun before dinner instead of running around.

When we where there in Feb 2008 the self kiosk was down....and line up where long......here's a lil:wizard: to hope you get thru fast

your room may or may not be available at that time of day as well. If it isn't you can use that time to go get the car.

Wow you are right. I just checked with Alamo ther for my upcomming trip this Sunday. About $100 less then what I currently have for Dollar Rent A car. However, the hassle part may not be worth it. Will have to consider that one.

As for the Magical Express and your bags, I know your bags will make it because I have done it.

For the Crystal Palace I would still drive. I hate waiting for buses even though I used to be a bus driver there. Park at the TTC.

Again just my 2 cents.
