Day Guest Parking at Royal Pacific

I see that the Universal resorts have 'day guest parking' for $45. (We noticed it at Loews Royal Pacific Resort specifically.) Is this just to park for the day at the resort, or do you also get to use some of the amenities at the resort. I can't find any information on what this is exactly.

That's just for parking. Parking at Universal resorts is run by a third party, who sets the prices.

You can have to your parking ticket validated if you dine at a table service restaurant in the hotel you parked.

It's a higher fee so people don't try to park at the resorts in lieu of the parking garage.
