DW again......
Okay, today was more or less a write off, due to too much vino colapso at the dessert party, not to mention the beer on the boardwalk. We hobbled to AK as we knew we could get away with not having to go on sicky spinning rides ~ or so we thought! Lois forced Daddy on to the Primeaval Whirl.
By lunchtime we had just about recovered and had the munchies, so we headed off to the Rain Forest Cafe. Callie hated the animal noises and just sat there shouting 'shut up' at all the animals, much to my embarrassment but to the amusements of our fellow diners
We headed back into the park, then we left to go swim at the hotel . The Swan and Dolphin have several pools that they share. Lois loves the one with the slide, so we camped round there. DH swam with the kids and I buried my head in my book for a while.
We stopped by the concierge desk and booked a table at Gullivers, which we loved ! DH had the crab cake starter, I had clam chowder (delicious!) and we both had a very good, perfectly cooked filet mignon. The kids had pizza and Genie and Goofy came by to see them at the table. A very good meal!
Collapsed into our 'heavenly beds' exhausted after another long day, vowing never to drink so much again ~ until next time there's a meet of course
p.s. sorry for the delay in trip reports, our computer connection crashed in the room, but they replaced it and left me a box of choccies with an apology, so i'll survive. A1 staff here at The Swan!
