Day By Day

I talked to a cm at ms yesterday and he said if I wanted BC my best best would be to do a day by day call. So, what if I have a reservation for three days (monday through Thursday) and I get monday night and wednesday night but not Tuesday?
Just seems like it might not actually work. What's everyone's experience with this?

I believe wait list would be an option for you.

Calling day by day exactly 7 months out, that shouldn't be possible. You might get the first night but not the next. At worse you would have a one-night reservation at BC if something was available.

So when do I call to get on a waitlist? The last day of my reservation-7 months out?

We just booked a 6 night visit to BC for November. We knew that if we stuck with the '7 months before check out' rule, we wouldn't get our reservation. We did the day by day thing and were successful. When you call, make sure you tell them that you will be booking for 4 days. They will look to find something that is potentially available for that time frame instead of just the one night. You will need to call again first thing the next morning to add to it.

I suppose if I didn't get all the dates, I could still go on the waitlist, right?

Yes, the waitlist has been very helpful to us.

I did this for my upcoming trip - I called day by day. I could not get BC for my first 2 nights, but was able to get it for the rest of the trip. I had already booked at my home resort- BWV for the whole trip, and then switched out day by day as it became available.

I knew day by day would be my only option, and part of the problem for me was starting my trip on a holiday weekend (Memorial Day).

But, 2 days at BWV and then 7 at BCV is nothing to complain about...
