I have a question regarding the day by day booking at the 11 month window. We are considering a trip to BCV in the fall of 2007. I know that this is a really busy time because of the F&W Festival. However, how difficult is it to get a two bedroom at BCV on a day by day reservation at the 11 month window?

Thanks

If you own at the BCV it shouldn't be difficult at all. We booked a 2 bedroom at BWV for the F&W past the 11 month window.......I do realize that the BCV is smaller but being that your planning around the 11 month window I would believe you will get right in. 7 months and in may be a problem though....
Going day by day may not be necessary but it definitately will guarentee you will get what you want.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I was hoping that booking day by day would guarantee the "in" at BCV at the 11 month window; however, one just never knows. I have read many stories about not getting rooms.

There are more rooms at the BCV than there are standard view rooms at the BWV. You can get a BWV SV by booking day by day at 11 months even during the first two week of December.

There are never any guarantees of course, but booking day by day at 11 months (calling at 9 am Eastern) is as close as you can get with DVC. I'd be very surprised if you have a problem getting your BCV reervation when you call day by day at 11 months.

Best wishes -

Ok, newbie question here-what exactly do you mean 'day by day' booking? Is it booking each day separately, or calling each day to try to secure a ressie, or something else? :confused3

TIA!

Day by day booking is a tactic to improve one's chances of securing a reservation. Normally, you would call 11 months in advance of a reservation's check-out date to book an entire reservation.

Using day by day, you would call 11 months in advance of the reservation's second day (the day after check in). You would book that one day. Then call the next day to book the following day. Continue until complete.

When you make the first call, you let them know what you're doing and give them all the information about how long your entire reservation will be, who will be there, requests, etc. After that, each subsequent day is a 30 second call to add a day.

It is a tactic that is normally only suggested at the highest demand times of the year for DVC units (Spring Break, December, F&W Festival, etc). The OP wants an EPCOT resort during the F&W Festival, so the day by day booking tactic is probably a very good idea.
