Day before cruise?

Has anyone who stays at the Radisson the day before their cruise ever gone to spend the day at Cocoa Beach? If we get there early in the day and can't check in yet, I know my kids would enjoy a day on the beach. We'll have a rental car, so there won't be a problem getting there. Or is it too much work and aggravation? Any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

My recommendation would be to take the family over to The Lone Cabbage Fish Camp and treat yourselves to a Florida airboat ride and a then a meal at their friendly, laid-back restuarant. The entrees include fresh turtle soup, gator burgers and daily specials as well as your mainstays of hamburgers and such...
