I don’t know whether I’m looking/searching in the wrong place, but I can’t seem to find an answer to this.

I noticed that as a party of 4 during a busy week (arriving Christmas Day, leaving 1/2/22), it’s possible that we won’t get 2 Queen beds. We could end up with 1 Queen, 1 Day Bed and 1 Twin-Sleeper Chair.

1) Would this be a smaller room in terms of square footage? Because if not I see this as a good set up—more seating and free space during the day because there is one less queen bed in the middle of the room.

2) But are they comfortable?

3) Are they large enough for adults and large teens, or are they really designed for little kids?

4) Any pics of the Twin Sleeper?

Thanks in advance!

Almost all of the YC rooms have two queen beds, and many of those also have a daybed. There are just a few rooms with an odd assortment of beds, like the one you listed. The odds of getting that room are slim. You can call Disney reservations and have a request for 2 queens and a daybed added to your reservation. :)

Interesting. what is the reason for that configuration? Are they smaller rooms?
They usually are corner rooms or rooms at the end of a hallway. They are a different size than the normal resort room and the layout of these odd shaped rooms means that two queens and a daybed won't fit in them. Some of the odd shaped rooms are huge and some are smaller than the standard room.

I just wanted to x2 on @WoodNymph’s excellent advice that the chances of getting one of the “odd” rooms is very, very small.

Enjoy your YC stay!
Thanks! Started to panic about crowds and cost, but it’s really the only time we can go. And I have always wanted to see Disney at Christmas! Do you know if there is a group on here to which I should add our name and dates?
