Day Bed vs Pull Down Bed

Is there a difference in size? Planning an april 2023 visit to Poly. My son is 14 and would need to sleep on the day bed/pull down. On the DVC side it's a pull down (and we've stayed there before when he was younger - I know for sure he would not fit on it now) but on the hotel side they call it a day bed. He's 5'8" and growing.
We love Poly so much but also definitely want him comfortable.

We stayed in one of the new Resort Studios at the GF and they have the same day bed. The back of the couch folds down and makes a bed. It is a regular mattress that is a bit smaller than a twin. It is definitely larger, more sturdy, and more comfortable than the pull down beds! My 13 yo daughter was totally fine on it.

I found the touringplans review of the hotel-side room, that has the measurements and a photo. They say it's "6 feet long x 32 inches wide."
