We are thinking of taking a mini trip to disney. We are doing a big trip nest yr so we could get annual passes and use them for both trips. We are trying to make this trip a budget trip...

It will be me, DH , 16 yr old, 5, 4, 2 yr olds. Can a 16 yr old sleep in the daybed? I know we will be cramped but it is only 4 nights and we won't be in our room very much (just to sleep).

No, that bed will be too short for a 16 year old. It's only five feet long.

Have you thought about the FW Cabins? A sleeper sofa in the LR, a double bed and set of bunks in the bedroom, might be perfect for your family! Plus you can save some money by having breakfast in the room. With taht many kids I'll bet that in itself would cover the cost difference.

It isn't a Daybed it is a trundle bed. I think they are the same size aa a twin bed only they are lower to the floor. The day beds at the Poly fit a 16 YO but he does look cramped and he hits the wall everytime he turns. I think that if it is a short trip you will be fine. No it won't be like home but in DW you can virtually sleep standing up.

We stayed at dixie landings in dec 99 - I used the trundle bed!! I'm 32, however I'm only 5' tall. The first two nights I slept there, then my neice and nephew (6 & 8 at the time) felt bad, so they took turns. By the 4th night we were fighting over who would sleep there - it was comfy. Made my sister, 39, have a night so she could see what we were fighting about. She joined in....
If he isn't unusually tall, I think it will be fine.
