thier big but not too big, pretty, and have a spot for all my stuff :goodvibes

I usually use my Vera Bradley backpack, old style, but it broke so I bought the one everyone is showing from QVC. I will use it in March. I think it looks like it will hold everything we need. I really wanted a backpack to hold snacks and stuff but I guess I can keep them in the diaper bag on the stroller, I won't keep anything valuable in that one.

I have the lime green baggalini. I used it at WDW in Sept and it worked really well. I carried camera, videocamera, snacks, water bottle, passes, pretty much everything we needed.

I spent 45 mins opening and closing bags before I found the right fit for me! It has a small zipper compartment up front that I can slide my credit card, key card, and Driver's license. It also has a small compartment for cash, and a zipper pocket for change, and holds a pen. Inside the big pocket it has a velcro compartment that you can move to any location to hold your camera secure. It's big enough to hold my camera, my keys, a pack of snack crackers, personal items, sunscreen and lip balm.

Okay, here are photos of my Overland Donner Bag. I love it, because it can hold two bottles of water, both the Birnbaum's Guide and the UG with room to spare (I don't really need to carry them, I'm just trying to give you a sense of size), has a space for my digital camera or a cell phone, slots for pens, compartment for cash, etc. And the weight is well distributed.

My favorite part of the bag is the compartments for water. Not only are there two compartments, but they are located and attached to the straps/sides of the bag, which helps distribute the weight. Plus, they don't get all stretched out like water holders made of mesh. The pictures you see don't show my bag fully loaded; they just contain the books and the water bottles. The bags will hold a lot more, including snacks, a water poncho, sunscreen, etc.

You can buy the Donner for about $52 in many places. Ebags is having a small sale on them right now, but you can get them through REI, ebay, or several other online retailers. It's kind of pricey for a Disney-only bag, but I use mine for all sorts of casual travel on the weekends, on day trips, etc.

I hope these pictures help!

I made a post not long ago on here called "Crocs" and "Baggalini" to get more info on these items- I got a pair of Disney Beach crocs (pearl/pink) for like $18 because of it so I was super excited!

But I still can't decide on a bag. I like a couple of the Travelons on saw... but they are backpack style. And I like the Baggalini's but don't like the cross the chest idea- especially because the boyfriend and I hand off throughout the day.

We will be carrying: 1-2 big water bottles, our Passporter binder, my wallet, our resort mugs and maybe a few other select items in it.

I have been looking at the LeSportSac backpack...

I have purses from this company and they are easy to clean, comfortable, and even slightly waterproof. We thought for our purposes we didn't need any actually organizer in the bag but everyone's posts seem to focus on that... should I be looking for my organization too?

PS
I also like this bag from the Travelon line ALOT:

You're very welcome. I love these bags--feel like a spokesperson--and are sold in many different colors if you don't like the brown/lavender combinaton.

I too bought the Overland Donner bag for a recent WDW trip and absolutely loved it. Not only did I love it, my husband loved it and slung it cross body most of the trip. Now I wear it whenever I am traveling by air. It has some really great features and not just for park touring. The two "hidden" water bottle holder on the sides are superb. The fact it has an easy open velcro front flap and and full zipper middle compartment is great. The inside is a different color from the outside in a many of the bags, that makes it easy to see things with the contrast. It is better re: security vs. a backpack IMHO. We were able to carry a digital camera, extra batteries, memory stick, all tickets, room keys, pens, two rain ponchos, snacks, two bottles of water, autograph book, extra pins for trading, glow sticks, touring maps (and probably more) with this bag and it was still very comfortable across the shoulder. If I would make one improvement, it would be to add a sliding pad on the strap, just in case you needed it, which we didn't. I bought mine at REI. IF you sign up for their e-mail subscription, they send you a $10.00 off coupon (or they did at the time I bought). My price was 40.00.

For some reason I'm unable to post a pic...sorry :(

Just purchased one of these VB large backpacks in Java Blue for our trip beginning this Thursday!!! :woohoo: Anyone ever use one of these?? Pretty pricey, imo, but DH said why don't you go ahead & buy it?! He didn't have to tell me twice!!! But I've been married long enough to know that if he okay'd a $90 purchase for a bag that he must have something in mind that he wants to buy!

I have bought heys travel mates bags one sml for the wife and a larger one for me.They are really do organize a day trip:idea:Try www.heys.ca

I also bought the Overland Donner for last year's trip. The compartments really are great. I was able to pack alot into this bag with room to spare. I'll be bringing it again in April.:goodvibes

We bought the Royal Blue Disney Backpack while in the parks last year. We liked it, but it was a tad too big for what we needed. I am really thinking about the Baggalini for next year.

Congrats on your purchase DisneyRon! That was my second choice!

My parents ordered me this Travelon backpack from QVC for my birthday:
http://www.qvc.com/detail/ViewOptio...&tmp=pd&cont=001&classcode=2364&grpitem=false

I am super excited for it!
It is a backpack- smaller size and comfort straps! And it has organizer pockets in the inside. We can easily store our water, refill mugs once we are done with them in the more, passporter, and all the little extras that I always end up taking!

Yay!

Wow! what a great thread. :thumbsup2 I'm always on the lookout for the "perfect" Disney bag. I'm going to check out the overland bag this weekend. If it was a backpack I probably would have ordered it site unseen. The QVC travelon looks interesting. I saw on their website they are having a "travelon show" on March 26th. I think it's at 6:30 pm. I'll definitely mark my calander for that. Thanks for all the good tips!
