Day at sea between double dip CC...where do they go?

Hi All,

We're on the 5 night Magic sailing in April that has two visits to Castaway Cay, with a day at sea in between. Just curious, for the day at sea do they just hang out off the coast of Castaway? I assume Disney isn't interested in burning a bunch of fuel before returning to CC.

They probably just loiter in a loop around some of the islands. We did that on our Sea day with Nassau/CC. They didn't start heading north back to PC until night time.

I saw a cool video on youtube taken by someone who was visiting CC on the Dream of the fantasy sailing around just offshore--so you could see the Dream and Fantasy at the same time and they did a horn battle. So yeah, I guess at least sometimes they stay pretty close by.

The ship needs to be far enough away from land for various reasons: duty free shopping, waste water dumps, also alot of the operating systems require minimum speeds as well as being able to use cellular at sea.

Saw that video too. I will be on this same cruise we are talking about and have my fingers crossed we will see the Dream and do this.

We did 2 dream cruises in august that were both CC double dips. You could watch a channel on the cabin TV that showed the route of the ship. We did small circles very close to CC on both of the in between sea days. We never saw land on those days, but we were never very far from CC either!
